The dreaded Great Aunt has invited herself to stay with Nancy and Peggy just as their friends Dick and Dorothea arrive for the Summer holiday. Nancy and Peggy have to become Martyrs, wearing dresses and reading poetry (but breaking out at night), while Dick and Dorothea become Picts, secret inhabitants of the country who must never let themselves be seen. Роберт Джеймс Фишер (1943 г. р.) — международный гроссмейстер с 1958 г., одиннадцатый чемпион мира, гениальный и фанатичный слуга богини шахмат Каиссы. Первый том охватывает период творчества с 1955 по 1967 годы (первая — четвертая главы). Перед партиями каждой главы следует подобранный составителями материал из интервью Фишера, его коллеги партнеров, специальных корреспондентов шахматных изданий. Партии сборника классифицированы по дебютам и снабжены поясняющими диаграммами, приведены таблицы турниров с участием Фишера, указатель партнеров и соответствующих партий, фотографии Фишера, а также личный счет Бобби с участниками `Матча Века` и другая статистика. Второй том охватывает период творчества с 1968 по 1972 годы (пятая — восьмая главы), где дополнительно включены три партии, сыгранные Фишером с компьютером в 1977 г.
