It tells the story of strong and self-reliant woman Frona Welse from Yukon, who has problems with the local community because of her manners and dubious friends. While being in love for two at once, she cannot choose between local man Gregory St Vincent, who turns out to be cowardly and treacherous, and mining engineer Vance Corliss.
